in January, I made it a goal to spend as much free time reading as I possibly can. last year was pretty abysmal for books; moving to a new country and exploring a new city really took up all of our free time, so I'm trying to make up for it now! my goal last year was to read 24 books but I didn't even read half of that :( this year isn't looking great but there's still time to bring it back around!! now that we're officially halfway through the year, here's what I've read so far:

  1. Freedom Is a Constant Struggle, by Angela Y. Davis
  2. Yellowface, by R.F. Kuang
  3. The Goodbye Cat, by Hiro Arikawa
  4. Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, by Gabrielle Zevin
  5. Raising Good Humans, by Hunter Clarke-Fields
  6. Ghost Wall, by Sarah Moss
  7. Are Prisons Obsolete?, by Angela Y. Davis (in progress)

the next time you see this list, there'll be 18 more books on it (I hope)!!
